Teaching
I taught seven undergraduate courses (nine sections) in mathematics and computer science as an Adjunct Professor at Universidad Interamericana de Puerto Rico, Panama Campus (Aug 2023 – Dec 2024). The courses ranged from general-education algebra to upper-level electives in web development and artificial intelligence for video games. I developed the course materials, delivered lectures, practice sessions and tutorials, and assessed student progress through exams, assignments and projects, with individualized feedback and academic advising.
Before that, I tutored public-school students in mathematics, physics and chemistry, and designed and taught programming and database workshops at Universidad Tecnológica de Panamá.
Courses at a glance
The mathematics courses form the university's core sequence, from Fundamentals of Algebra to Precalculus to Calculus I. Precalculus is also the entry point to the two-semester Discrete Computer Structures sequence for computer science majors, which I taught in consecutive terms.
